LONDON 2012 OLYMPIC
AND PARALYMPIC GAMES
With accountability for mobilising the UK’s largest peace-time workforce of 200,000 paid colleagues, Games Maker volunteers and contractors, we knew the success of the Games would be built around people. When we led the team at London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games we set about redefining the approach of major international events to the management of paid, contractor and volunteer workforce – all the time focused on brilliant delivery. We simplified processes, realigning the focus to ensure leaders could lead and people could deliver with the values upheld. We are proud to have staged the most diverse and inclusive games that captivated a nation.
